The Will of God December 31, 2007
“The will of God will never take you, where the grace of God cannot protect you.”
So here I am, twenty and seven, married with two kids and about to start an amazing adventure with God.
I have always wanted, dreamed and fantisised about going into the world and preaching the gospel. I had many romantic thoughts of leaving it all behind to follow God across the seas. I never thought I’d be taking two kids under 5 to a third world country. As I begin this journey, I am ever more depending of the grace of our God to see me through. When I picture my life in Papua New Guinea (by the way I’ve never been before so I can’t picture it easily) I am depending on the grace of my Lord to carry me.
A friend of mine told me that she wants to live dangerously for the Lord. I want to live fearlessly for Jesus. To be a “yes” woman for God. A true servant that is willing to do anything and go anywhere. Surrender all and not look back.
As we get closer to our departure, I feel more and more sure that I cannot do this. But HE CAN!!! My I AM is with me.
So buckle up, and follow me as I serve the Lord…
Love to all,
Carina
